It is located on the right, behind and to the left of the battery, about 6 inches below the top of the engine. It is really hard to get to.
Automatic: It is located above the transmission fluid filter on the front of the transmission. Manual: There is no Transmission fluid trmperature sensor for the Manual transaxle
If you have the owners' manual, check it. If not, the 1992 Rangers' Mazda 5-speed manual transmission called for MERCON ATF..yes that's correct; Automatic Transmission fluid goes in the manual transmission. You can fill it through the Hex- bolt hole located on the driver's side of the unit near the middle.
I know if you have an auto transmission v6 Mazda mx6 93. You can put the transmission fluid in a 1993 Mazda Mx6 v6 from where you check the dip of transmission fluid. It is located close to the battery and close to the fuel filter. Its cap is orange color. For the manual transmission, you have to look under neath of the car, there is a bolt for drain and a bolt for to fill. Look around it, you will see it.

You don't use clutch fluid for a manual transmission vehicle.
The transmission fluid filler is located in the back of the engine compartment on the 2007 Accent manual transmission. You fill it by removing the dipstick.
Believe it or not, the factory manual calls for Automatic transmission fluid GM Dextron II for the 4 and 5 speed manual transmissions. Cheers Malcolm

Some use manual transmission lube and some use automatic transmission fluid. Call your local Mazda dealer and make sure you use the correct one. Or just look in your owner's manual.
Transmission lube goes in on the side of the transmission under the car.
