24 bolts and screws in all. 4 seat bolts, two on the seat support panel, 3 rocker panel screws, one seat belt, about 14 under the carpet, and holding the metal access cover.
hi there the thermostat is located right on the bottom of the engine next to the oil filter. i believe the housing is held with 2x 12mm bolts which once removed (carefull of hot water) you can then remove/replace the thermostat. i would seriously consider taking more advice as the previa cooling system is very very sensitive to air locks and prone to over heat when just filled with coolant
you can remove the cv halfshafts and the front axle driveshaft then drop the differential assy down to access the pan. its not all that easy one way or the other. with a lift it is easier to drop the axle.
remove the glove box by taking out the screws facing you. then pull it down
To replace the rear bulb in a Toyota 4Runner remove the plastic covers located in the trunk. Taking off the plastic covers will reveal the taillight housing and bulbs. Replace the bulbs.
Yow have to remove the entire intake manifold to access it. I highly recommend taking it in and having it done by a pro.
To gain access to the rear speakers in a Toyota Tacoma extended cab you have to remove the entire side rear plastic panel. The removal of the fold down seats may also be required but i know that you have to take that big piece off. Using one of those tools that pops out the panel connectors is useful when putting the panel back on. You will most likely be doing a lot of work taking stuff off so just remember where it goes.
You have to remove the exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold on starter side. Now you have access. Get exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold gasket first, you will probably need to replace it after taking them apart.
You need a special Toyota tool. if it's not in your truck try taking it to the Toyota service dept. or ask the parts dept there to print up a diagram of the tool you need--you can then see the hook/rod assembly. or go the junk yard and hope they have one.
Its behind the glove box.....i took the bottom part of my dash out but you may be able to access it by taking off glove box. If i would have known i would have tried it first.

Cut the electrical connection or remove the plug behind the radio. Buy a new antenna at Radio Shack. Remove inner fender (plastic) for access to antennna.
It is easily accessible, remove the bottom of the rear seat by taking out the 10mm bolt that's in the middle close to the the seat belt buckles and remove the access panel under the seat. There it is.
