none. they were included in some Bibles along with Old Testament books, but most current Bibles no longer have them. The Catholic Bible does still contain the aprocyphal books
All English copies of the Hebrew Scriptures are translated from Hebrew to English. These books are always called The Hebrew Bible (or the Tanakh, תנ״ך)Christians refer to these books as "The Old Testament"
The Septuagint was a Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament scriptures, with each book written on a separate scroll. There was no single, bound 'Bible' that could definitively identify which books were included and which were not. The apocrypha were translated into Greek and are considered to have been part of the Septuagint.
The first five books of The Bible were translated from the original Hebrew- that's a start!
The apocrypha was NOT included in the Bible. These are the books rejected by Jews who cannonized the scriptures.
None were deleted, but there are 16 books in the Apocrypha that are not in the canonized Bible.
The books that are not included in the Bible are generally called the apocrypha and the pseudepigrapha.
Martin Luther, the famous reformer, translated the Apocrypha. I recall having heard that he didn't find the Apocrypha an important source of dogma, but recommended studying them. However, the Apocrypha like Maccabees aren't a source of dogma for the Lutherans, and they aren't spoken of in sermons etc.Apocrypha are those books and stories which were not accepted into the Christian protestant Bible (although some of these were included in the Catholic bible, such as Esdras I and II, for example).
The Apocrypha. See lists below:
The Apocrypha are several books not accepted by all Christians. The Deuterocanon is a subset of Apocrypha used by the Catholic Church, that include all but 3 of the Apocrypha of the 1611 King James Bible.
Christians call them the apocrypha. Jews call them sfarim chitzonim (הספרים ×”×—×™×¦×•× ×™×™× ×œ×ª× "ך).
Apocrypha is a Greek word means hidden things. There are some people, especially the Catholics, who consider the Apocrypha also to be a part of the Bible. About 12-15 books(and parts of books) found in greek orthodox and catholic OT,but not in Hebrew Bible or Protestant OT. Protestants either ignore them or consider "deuterocanonical". It is found in the middle section of the oxford bible. It is important for history of period between Ot and NT.
This was part of 14 books not in the Hebrew Bible, but added later, so protestants decided they were not inspired by God. The King James Version originally contained the Apocrypha, but printers began leaving them out to save money.
