Triple Alliance
The Triple Alliance was an alliance to counter the Triple Entente, an other Alliance, it contained Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire and Italy. Italy left the Triple Alliance on April 26th 1915 to join the Triple Entente in world war one
The Triple Entente began in 1907. The Triple Alliance was signed in 1882.
The Triple Entente formed out of necessity since the Triple Alliance was growing stronger. The Triple Alliance formed so that Germany could fight the war on both fronts.
