Some how I lost the owners manual for my 1998 Lincoln town car. Now my cigarette lighter is not working. I need to find out where the fuse is located...can anybody help..thanks Rich
On a 1998 Ford E-250 : ( # 23 is a 20 amp fuse for the cigar lighter and Data Link Connector ) * in the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal ( it has a cover on it )
No 8 fuse in front right fuse panel
#1 - 20 amp fuse - cigar lighter ( in the fuse panel , below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal )
check the fuel pump fuse- cigar lighter fuse, you may have shorted the wires.
I was looking at the 1998 Ford Escort owners manual and it shows : There is a group of 6 ( 5 fuses and 1 space ) outside of the passenger compartment main fuse panel ( The cigar lighter is the only fuse that is a YELLOW colored 20 amp fuse in that group of 5 fuses ) The diagram shows CIGAR , but I don't know if that is just for the diagram
