fuse #14 under the steering column
There is only one fuse for all power windows. If only the passenger side window does not work, the problem is either with the passenger window switch or the motor on that window.
on the passenger side there is a fuse cover on the floor, take off the panel and look at the back, find power window fuse, take it out, replace with new one
It doesn't have one.
One circuit breaker protects all the power windows. If only one window doesn't work it's not the circuit breaker/fuse. It could be the switch in the drivers door or the power window motor has failed.
I don't own this vehicle, but thanks for asking. The entire power window system shares fuses and circuit breakers. If only one window is not working the problem is not a fuse.
Tiburons have issues with the power window motors. One or both will probably need to be replaced.
there are two fuse panels one inside and one outside under the hood. you can check them and look to see if they are blown. I think your problem might be a power window motor. Usually the window motor goes bad and the window quits working.
There is no single fuse for one power window. The most common thing is the switch to fail. This would be the master window switch. Try jumping the wires with a live current and see if the window goes up and down. If it does then its your switch, if the motor fails to move most likely its the motor/regulator.
The fuse or relay for the power windows on a 2000 Chevy Suburban is located in the fuse box on top of the battery. Unplug the old relay and insert the new one.
All the door power windows are protected under one circuit. If one door power window doesn't work, chances are the problem is within that one door, be it switch, motor or wiring.
If only one window quit working, it's probably not the fuse. It might be the motor, but if you haven't been having any warning signs (slowing down, noisey operation) I just as soon bet the problem is in the window switch.
Check under the hood for a power distribution boxAnswerYou may be looking in the wrong one. There may be additional fuse panels on your car. Typically, one under the driver's side dash, and one under the hood. Sometimes, one fuse covers a lot of circuits and may not be labeled specifically for the windows. Use a test light and test them all. There is not a fuse. There is what is called a thermister near the motor on the power window. The thermister stops the electricity flow once it reaches a certain temperature. You need to replace the entire power window actuator. I have done it. I think the actuator cost about $70 on the internet and you can find directions on how to replace it. It is not too difficult.
