Answer 1
Answer 2
Nobody. Islamic Law has not been abrogated and abolishing slavery would be an abrogation. There are many imposed restrictions on slavery, but these come from states and not Islamic Law. While it certainly is the case that the Qur'an encourages slave owners to free their slaves, it does not require them to do so. The Qur'anic quotes in Answer 3 explicitly prove this assertion. Under Islam, slavery expanded and developed into a truly international enterprise. (Hint: The Quran quotes in Answer 3 explicitly prove that slavery expanded allover the world before Islam (you may refer to the history of the different empires before Islam) but on the revelation of Quran to prophet Muhammad in the 7th century, both Quran and the prophet instructed Muslim to limit slavery as introduction to its elimination completely)
Further, slavery is still a huge part of the world; there are currently between 12-27 million slaves in the world, primarily in the Third World and many in Islamic Countries. There are 200,000 slaves in Mauritania (one-fifth of the entire population), 800,000 in Niger, 200,000 in Mali, and 200,000 in Sudan. This is because the laws of the national governments, some of which banned slavery as recently as 2007, do not reach most of the areas outside of the capital cities.
By and large, the reason for the reduction and elimination of slavery in the Islamic World came at the hands of Western Imperialism and International Pressure. Unlike the Islamic Feminist Movement, which was endemic to the Islamic World, there is no Islamic Abolitionist Movement. The evidence for this is that almost every current Islamic country abolished slavery through either: (1) active world-policing by the British during the 1830s-1870s to stop slave traders and force weaker regimes to abandon slavery - especially in Western Africa, (2) colonization during which extant slave-holding kingdoms such as Tripolitania and Egypt were forced by the occupier to abolish slavery, (3) international pressure after World War II on non-colonized Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia and formerly colonized countries that never banned slavery such as Sudan and Mauritania. By contrast, the Abolitionist movements in the UK, USA, Brazil, and Mexico were largely endemic and based on a desire by the citizens of those countries to abolish slavery, not international pressure. The only similar act in the Islamic World was the Abolition of Slavery in the Ottoman Empire in 1847 under the Tanzimat Reforms primarily in order to prevent the dissolution of the Empire. However, slavery continued by and large in most places in the Ottoman Empire for several more decades due to the weak enforcement of the abolition.
Answer 3No other religion at that time urged its followers to free their slaves just for God sake and satisfaction as demonstrated below:
The above information proves the false argument mentioned in Answer 2 that says "By and large, the reason for the reduction and elimination of slavery in the Islamic World came at the hands of Western Imperialism and International Pressure."
Slavery started in Africa. These slaves were sold to America in exchange for goods like pots and pans and beads. These slaves were sold to plantations. The produce of the plantation was then sold to the English. Hope this helps :)The concept of slavery was invented by Islam in Turkey. Islam is prevelent in Northern Africa and so adds to continue slavery from Africa. Islam is the pure evil that is still active today. Purest form of slavery, Government control, violations of Human Rights is Islam.
Only slavery to Allah (God in English) is allowed in Islam. All other slavery types are not allowed in Islam; as slavery to other human master, slavery to money, slavery to power, slavery to certain habit or addiction as smoking or drinking alcohols. Before Islam era and in the early years of Islam, slavery was spread as a normal trade. Also, in wars the conquered men and women are captured as slaves. However, in Quran rules were set to limit slavery and to eliminate it gradually. Quran and Sunnah (Prophet Muhammad sayings and practices) encouraged Muslims to liberate their slaves as a way to be closer to Allah or as a penalty when committing some sins to be forgiven by Allah. Refer to question below for information on slavery in Christianity.
the slavery has destroyed my foot for the south. In the salad, slaveary can destroy my leg
It is not true the claim that pyramids are against Islam. I wonder of the question. It considers that pyramids are against Islam and just asking how. There is no single evidence from Quran or Sunnah (prophet Muhammad sayings and practices) that says pyramids are against Islam. If pyramids are against Islam, they would have been destroyed by the Muslims when they came to Egypt (on support of the Christians of Egypt against the Romans). However, Muslims neither destroyed them nor destroyed the ancient Egyptian temples.
There was a civilization calle "Loot". Allah destroyed them because they were gay. Islam teachings is against gay.
