"Tyranny of the majority"
He came from a poor background. He was from the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis in the Carribean, and he was an illegitimate child. Most, if not all, of the other Founding Fathers came from rich families.
John Locke, mostly. He stole the ideas from a lot of other philosophers but he is the one credited with the influence for the Constitution.

The Founding Fathers had no plan in place other than who would succeed the President if something happened. For the fathers to undermine the voters choice for President would've been a direct violation of the laws they had written to protect voter rights.

The founding fathers felt it was important that government had specific and defined limitations so that it could not become too powerful and infringe on the rights of citizens. One of the ways they limited the power of government was by separating it into three different entities which all policed each other through different rights and responsibilities.

Well, let's see...They founded the country, who else would you call "Founding Fathers" other than the men who founded the country? Michael Montagne
Our founding fathers wanted the United States to allow citizens to practice whatever religion they chose. They did not want the United States government to establish only one religion. Our founding fathers wanted the citizens of the United States to have the freedom of religious choice, so placed this requirement in the Bill of Rights. That way, the United States government could not require citizens to practice Islam, Buddhism, or any other type of religion.

I would think it is mostly the other way around, except maybe historical revisionism, which both sides are guilty of. The intent of the founding Fathers was a secular republic as the Constitution makes clear to anyone not deluded. We have no religious foundations to this country and many, if not most of the founding Fathers were deists and far from religious.
The majority of U.S citizens are of European descent, where the dominant religion is Christianity. All the founding fathers were Christians as well. People of other religions such as Judaism and Islam only started migrating to the U.S in large numbers in the last century.
