Two problems with this answer. 1) George Washington did not found Nashville. Quoting Wikipedia "Nashville was founded by James Robertson, John Donelson, and a party of Wataugans in 1779, and was originally called Fort Nashborough, after the American Revolutionary War hero Francis Nash." 2) As the quote states Nashville was founded in 1779. I know Avon, CT was founded in 1645; over 100 years before Nashville.
