Who invented the internet and how did he come up with the idea?
it was invented by the military as a means of communication. dunno the guy's name. how he came up with it was most likely that he needed to connect computers over a long distance. Yes, the government along with universities developed the internet as a way for scientists to share ideas. Originally it was just email and FTP sites as well as the Usanet where scientists could question and answer each other. Eventually, I think it was someone at the university of Illinois supercomputing center that came up with HTML documents or what we know of now as the web. The idea there was that you could have a document that could be seen from other computers by using a browser and you could display information in HTML format. That part of the internet is what became comercialized and is what most people think of as the internet. Tim Berners-Lee invented the internet. Here is his website: w3.org
Any idea that you have will be a good idea! Don't depend on some anonymous person on the internet to do your writing for you -- if you want to be a writer, you've got to come up with ideas on your own. What do you think of when you think of the Outback, or of pioneering days? Go do some research and see what comes up!
I saw a previous invention show, where a man invented a car seat that performed similar to the gyro bowl. He didn't win the show and his invention was passed over. Could this bowl be his work and was his idea successful after all? With a little bit of research via the internet, I found a link of the gyro bowl inventors. It was parents Brad and Melinda Shepard that came up with the idea.
Many people contributed to the idea and creation of the internet. In 1961, Leonard Kleinrock originally came up with the idea of "packet switching", which is essentially the Internet. The Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), was the original network that became the Internet as we know it today. Larry G. Roberts was the creator of ARPANET in 1966. Notable Achievements Leonard Kleinrock was the first to publish a paper about the idea of packet…
A popular belief has sprung up that the Internet was invented in the Pentagon in 1969. On October 29 1969, UCLA computer science professor Leonard Kleinrock led a team of engineers in launching the first Internet message from UCLA to Stanford Research Institute, as part of the Arpanet project so if was not originated at the pentagon.
Get some inspiration! That is the best and pretty much only way you come up with a book idea. Take a look at your surroundings. Maybe it'll be a poetic book about nature. Maybe your idea will come from a conflict at school. Your inspiration can come from anything and anywhere, even another book as long a you do not COPY the other author's idea, as it is their own work and creativity.
