The Axis mainly consist of Germany, Japan, and Italy, with some small states such as Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.

On the Allies side, China was the first, since full scale war has started with Japan already on 1937, then Poland, United Kingdom and France on 1939, Soviet Union and United States then entered on 1941. There were many more small states on the Allies side as well, such as Canada, Australia, Greece, New Zealand, and several others.

Main countries were the US, Soviet Union, British Empire, and France. The war started off as just the French and the British, with the Russians just doing their own thing (Had a deal to not fight Germany and split Poland after German Invasion). However after France surrendered, Germany broke the deal and attacked the Soviets causing them to officially join the British. US soon followed after they were attacked at Pearl Harbor by the Japanese.
