If it's the Daphne I think you're talking about, she didn't have one. She wanted to be like Artemis, i.e. "chaste", so no husband for her. Apollo tried to have the sexytime with her, but she, begging her father (a river god) to save her, was turned into a laurel tree. Apollo didn't marry her (or even touch her, while human), but he did claim the laurel as his tree.
Daphne was a daughter of the river Ladon and earth, and since earth is the mother of all things it would seem that she had no grandmother.
Here's the basic myth: Apollo was bragging to Eros that his arrows were far more potent than the petty love arrows Eros had. Eros shot him with one, and he fell in love with a wood nymph. This wood nymph, Daphne, had been shot with a lead arrow, so she was to never fall in love. She was chased across the forest by Apollo. She cries "Father, help me!" and her father, who is Peneus, river god, turns her into a laurel tree. That is why Apollo uses the laurel tree for his symbol and his woven crown.
