Who discovered Africa is hardly an easy topic.
Most recent archaeological and anthropological evidence points to "mankind" originating in Africa before migrating to other parts of the globe.
This means that no one discovered Africa, as it has always been inhabited since humans began to walk the earth.
The question "Who discovered Africa?" is quite commonly asked nowadays in schools etc. this is normally taken from an "enlightened European" context, with the various voyages of discovery taking place from Europe in the 14th, 15th and 16th century's (as well as the Chinese in the 15th century).
There is the context in which cultural expansion, and not exploration as we think of it today, brought Western and Asian groups into contact with Africa. The question could be phrased "Who were the first non-Africans to explore/learn about/trade with Africa?" The answer is probably lost to history in the far-distant past.
There is some speculation about the first people to dwell in the Nile valley, the people who were the founders of the first dynasty of ancient Egypt. Those people were likely African in origin. In the 7th Century BCE Arabic peoples invaded Egypt, so Arabic peoples may be in the running.
Human beings came from Africa and migrated all over the planet from there. Africa is connected to Asia via the Middle East, and is just across the Mediterranean Sea from Europe. The distance from Gibraltar, Spain to Africa is just a few miles. There is no official human discover of Africa, people have known about the Continent for thousands of years. There were people who explored the interior of Africa, such as Dr. Stanley Livingston, but, everyone in Europe and the Middle East, knew about the existence of Africa for thousands of years.
No one discovered Africa. Humans all share a common ancestor, and that human-like creature evolved in Africa. They cannot have 'discovered' Africa, as this was their homeland all along.
Africa is not a country, it is a continent. It is made up of a number of individual countries - I think about 47 last count.
No one founded Africa.
King Henry the Navigator was called the first person to explore Africa but he actually sent people to explore the northern east part of Africa.
