He was most famously known as the General of the United States Armed Forces during World War 2. Dwight D. Eisenhower was born October 14, 1890 in Denison, Texas and died March 28, 1969 in Washington DC.

Born May 8, 1884 in Lamar, Missouri, died December 26, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri, Harry Truman succeeded Franklin D. Roosevelt as the thirty-third President of the United States, serving between April 12, 1945 and January 20, 1953, including the whole of 1949. Vice President to Franklin Roosevelt for his last term, Truman succeeded President Roosevelt after he died of a stroke while in office.
