George III ("Mad George") ruled from 1760 to 1820; the French Revolution was fought was 1789 to 1799. This was also the period during which American colonists won their war for independence. George III married Charlotte of Mecklinburg-Strelitz in 1761 and they had 15 children. George III was King of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. There has not been a Queen (or King) of England for over 300 years. England is a part of, but not the same as, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In both the novel and historical reality, they were guillotined, two separate executions, I believe the Queen was beheaded later than King Louis. There is no possibility that Marie Antoinette survived the revolution, unlike, well you know Female, red hair, blue eyes, five foot nine, last seen wearing a trenchcoat and an unmarked Black Garrison hat in a basement in Ekaterinberg, be careful, she"s paranoid about Cops.
