If you want to open a folder in a new window (not a tab in windows explorer) then you right click on the folder and click "Open in new window"
This is actually really easy to do. First create new folder by right clicking on the desktop, and going to New > Folder. When your new folder is created go to the file you want to copy and click on it to highlight it. Now press Ctrl+C and now go back to the folder you just made and open it. You should be in the folder, and while in the folder press Ctrl+V. Now the file is copied in the folder and your done!
Go to run and type Temp then enter, a window will open that will show you active window.
Start->My Computer, Tools->Folder Options->General, find the group which is called Browse Folders->Open each folder in the same window
You should begin with a default Star Craft folder named "maps". the simplest way to create a new folder is to open StarEdit, click open, then right click anywhere on blank space, select "New Folder", then name it, and your done. now drag, cut and paste the folder where you want to put it. The other way to do it is to go to "My Computer" or "Desktop" or etc. if it is in the default location, then go to drive C in My Computer. Then open "Program Files" and look for the folder named "starcraft". Then go into "maps" and right click, and name and etc.
That is dependant on you folder option setting. Open my computer and click on the tools tab then folder options from tools menu. On the first page there is a choice of open in the same window or open in a new window, check the box you would like to use and you should be good.
