One of several things could have happened......
1. Installation error...
2. Very dirty coolant system...
3. Very cheap heater core, I have seen this happen as many as 4 times with some of my customers on the same vehicle when they use cheaply made heater cores.......
After we replace it for them, check the coolant system, flush if needed and use the correct factory one then they have no mores problems.....
