When alot of engine power is needed, the A/C compressor will be shut off to reduce engine load.
Only if you shut it off. :)
no
sounds Like the pickup tube in the tank is bad.
The fan remains running after the vehicle shuts off in order for the engine to cool down. Once the motor cools down sensors trigger the fan to shut it off.
Turn wheels to edge of road. If car starts to roll backward down hill, it will back off of the road.
Low pressure switch shutting the unit on and off. Possibly low on freon.
If it`s a heat pump it may be in defrost mode.
The engine cooling fan will continue to run because the engine is hot. Once the engine has cooled down the fan will shut off. If it never shuts off you may have a bad temp switch or relay.
It is Radiator fan which shuts on and off automatically because there is a timingdevice which operates the fan to keep the engine coolant cool in extreme temperature.
The simple rule is: always turn your wheels so that, if your vehicle rolls down the hill, it does not roll into traffic. The easiest way to do that facing uphill without a curb is to turn the wheels so that if the car does roll backward, it will roll off the road... i.e. turn them as if you were trying to drive off the road.
push the button and have the fan on. the button is located right under the fan control dial. the button on the left turns the a/c on and the one on the right is for recirculation (max air). the a/c only works when the fan is on and shuts off when the fan is off.
if your foot is off the gas when it shuts off and will restart its most likely the idle air control motor
