Have to disconnect the linkage to the wipers - may have to remove screen at botom of windshield for access
They say you have to pull the engine out to get to it, but if you just loosen the motor mount brackets and pick the motor up a few inches you will be able to get the oil pan bolts. Remove the mounting bolts and lower the pan. Make sure to remove the spacers if there are any and clean around the edge of it before replacing.
The window motor is attached to the window regulator by screws. After removing the door trim you must detach the regulator from the door by drilling-out four rivits. Then remove the screws from the old motor and install the new motor. Re-attach the regulator with bolts and put the trim back on the door.

You can remove the oil pan from your 2002 Chevy Cavalier, without removing the motor. The oil pan is held in place with retaining bolts.
to fit a starter motor it is normally held in by 3 maybe 4 bolts dependant on what car it is. these bolts are normally easily found when the starter motor is found which will be located either on the back or the front of the engine. attached to the gearbox. there is aso the main feed wire connected to the starter which must also be removed but always remember to disconnect the battery terminals before removing the starter.
lift engine by removung the motor mount bolts. jack up engine and remove oil pan bolts
Yes But it's not easy, and re installing isn't any better.. Need to loosen motor mounts and trans mount. I hooked my motor to a hoist and Lifted it as much as i could completely removing motor mount bolts. (note to watch Fan and shroud if choosing to use hoist..)
It should be at the lower end of the top radiator hose within the water outlet that is attached with 3 bolts to the motor. I hope this helps you. Mark If it is a 2.3 it is located on the driver's side, under the black plastic box.
It mostly depends upon the motor that is in your vehicle and the motor in the vehicle in which you are removing the transmission from. It should work as long as they are removed from the same motors. The transmission on a 4cyl will not bolt to a 6cyl. www.FordRanger.net
remove door panel u will se 3 dimples in the sheet meatl where the motor is drill out 3 10 mm holes to axcess the 3 8 mm bolts remove bolts and then u can remove the motor pretty easy
On the front, top of the motor (Closest to you. It has a radiator hose attached to it and is a pipe shaped like a "J". It also has 2 bolts holding it to the motor.
follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to where it bolts to the motor, remove the 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing to the motor, remove the thermostat put in the new on and clean the old gasket sealer off the housing put new sealer and replace bolts
