They are mean to us because they think it will make them cool and because they are so emotionally immature. Yes and maybe because they like you and they have nothing better to do with their lives.
Some of them show affection this way and this is how they show they like someone (whether or not people still do this in modern society is unsure but possible still...). I'd assume to either ask him to stop or assume he likes you.

∙ 12y agonot all guys are mean but they often do it because there guy friends are around so its to make them laugh if say they make fun of you. some guys just dont like to show there true feelings so they hide it by being jerks. usually its the "jocks" or the popular guys that are like that
