Maybe fuel pump lost prime - try turning key on for about 5 sec. without starting car do this twice and maybe it will prime fuel pump

As in how? If you mean putting the same size motor in then no. If you mean putting in a 300 HP motor then maybe. It all depends on common sense driving. It's a cascading effect. More HP means upgrading your axles and or Tranny. More HP means a faster car which means getting better brakes, larger drums or disk brakes for sure. If you put a 300 HP motor in a Pinto or any small car you would have to do the same thing. As far as twisting the car in half with more HP then no.
