The shoes and pads are worn out, are worn way down. Rear brake shoes need ajusted out.
Your brake fluid always goes low because the brake drum is liting it come out or the gopper line has a little hole in it so u have to fill it ever time
You probably have air in the brake hydraulic line. Bleed the air out of the brake lines.
Check the brake fluid level, it is probably low. If so, this is an indication that your brakes are in need of replacement.
If I understand your post: The brake light is on constantly? If so, you may want to adjust or replace the brake light switch located at the top of the brake pedal.
I have a 1992 Chevrolet lumina and I had the same problem. what that means is your brake fluid is at a low level so check that.
Spongy brakes are usually an indication that there is air in the brake lines. It is also possible the brake fluid is low, so check that first.
No, the 1998 Chevrolet pick-up does not have a low fuel light on it. You need to keep your eye on the fuel gauge so you do not run out of gas.
Happened to mine if your brake light flashed before like flickering it might be your brake fluids low add some then move your clutch petal half pumpls get the air out. Its a hydrolic so it should pop back up by itself one the air is out and the fluids replenished. Hope this helps
brake handle may be up only one notch and you don't notice it or if it's on the floor it may be down one or two notches, also if it's a newer vehicle there may be a problem in the electrical system, although I've never seen it with an E brake problem buckles614 the person who answered this before me might be correct but it is most likely your brake fluid is low. your emergancy brake light is the exact same as your brake fluid is low light. so just chek your brake fluid.
Ford stopped making the Thunderbird in 1997 and didn't start again until after 2000. So you don't have a 1998 Thunderbird.
It probably means that there is a problem with the electrical connection between the brake ligts and the brake pad and so it does not light when one brakes. Another possibility is that there could be a real serious defect in the braking system e.g. the brake fluid tubes.AnswerIt means a lot of things, but the most common and simplest is that one of the brake light bulbs burned out. Honda puts two in each brake light so you don't get rear-ended on the freeway or pulled over by the cops before you can get to the auto parts store, but check your brake lights by pulling each bulb, inspecting it and cleaning the socket. It could also mean the brake fluid is low. The most common reason for this is that the brake fluid in the reservoir goes down as your brake pads wear our. Warn pads often result in low fluid and a brake warning light. Check your fluid level. If its low don't fill it. First, check your brake pads front and rear to see if they are worn out. If you fill the reservoir and then replace the pads, you will spill fluid out of the reservoir when you push the pistons back in the calipers. The other most common brake light indication is if the emergency (parking) brake is engaged. Check to make sure it is released.I have to disagree with the second answer. Normal brake wear will NOT cause a lower fluid level. The brake indicator on usually always means low fluid in the brake system. Blown light bulbs in the brake circuit will NOT cause a brake light to come on. It is only something directly related to the brake system. Brake Fluid is the monitored component in the brake system. It also will give an ABS light with LOW FLUID,,,,possibly indicating a leak.
The reservoir is located on the driver's side rear of the engine compartment below the wiper boat assembly. Be sure to clean the cap before removing it and use the correct type of brake fluid as indicated on the cap. Normally, as the brake linings wear the fluid level in the reservoir drops. The level should not go so low as to affect functioning of the brakes or turn on a warning indicator lamp. When the linings are replaced, unless fluid is removed from the system, the fluid will rise to its previous level. If additional fluid had been added to the reservoir, it may overflow and spill brake fluid out. If not immediately cleaned off, brake fluid can damage paint, metal, plastic, and wiring. Keep in mind that if you have a low brake fluid level you should check for worn brake linings or fluid leaks. Excessively worn linings or leaking brake fluid can lead to brake failure if not corrected.
