I had same problem with my 2002 liberty. It was the park sensor. I had to turn on the key and put it in neutral then back to park to get the key out (might have to do it a couple of times). Once I did that I could get the key out. Then I had to remove the center console cover and found that the park sensor was loose. I tightened it up and haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps!
take it to a dealership and have them hook it to the computer. it's the only way I know of.
Your steering wheel is most likely locked, you should try to get your steering wheel in a different position, and it will start right up. My car used to do it all the time, it was such a pain. Good luck.
Open hood. Remove plastic housing securing air filter. Install new filter. Replace what you have removed. Your finished!
I had issues with the arm rest coming loose and wobbling and I ended up removing the driver side arm rest and the passenger side arm rest and swapping the two. To remove the arm rest, peel back the velcro at the base of the arm rest, peeling back the cover and revealing the bolt. Then, simply loosen the bolt using a Torx bit size T60 I believe, and that should remove the arm rest.
Its difficult to do, be sure to disconnect the battery first................ 1. Drain fluid from primary. 2. Remove primary cover. 3. Unscrew Jack Shaft through bolt on starter from primary side. 4. Remove rear inner plastic fender cover just in front of rear tire and between bike frame. 5. Remove supporting bolts for oil bucket. 6. Remove oil bucket and disconnect oil lines at same time. 7. Unbolt the 2 bolts holding the starter in place. 8. Disconnect the electrical plug and positive lead wire at starter. 9. Curse the Harley-Davidson manufacturers for not making it easier to remove starter over the last 50 years. Install in reverse.
remove the front cover, disconnect the turn signals wires and the two nuts that whole the gages, then down under the ignition switch and remove the two Allen screws and disconnect the wiring. install your new one ignition switch in reverse to the instructions.
