Why can i not turn the corner lights on my 95 firebird on without the headlights flipping up?

This happens to me also in my 1996 Firebird. However, this didn't always happen until my driver side headlight motor (gear) started grinding - it needs to be changed. Are you having any abnormal sounds when you put your lights down? If so check into replacing the gears. http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix/index.htm
