The answer to this question is in my social studies book which i have write here.... Because of mercantilism theory the colony kept building up it's gold supply and expanding the trade so then England tired t regulate the colonial trade.

At the time. Britain was engaged in a costly war with France ( Napoleon ). So the colonies were being used to support the war effort. I believe that it was because England was sat there watching Spain and other European countries get rich, and England was desperate for wealth at the time. I am not totally sure, but at least it's something.

The English regulated trade with the colonies so that the colonies would not trade with anyone else and that they would get all of the riches. This was called the Navigation Acts. The colonies "went behind their backs' and traded with Africa. This was known as the Triangular Trade.
