I have changed 2 blower motors and one fan relay in my 96 s-10 in 230,000 mi.
check for voltage at the blower motor on all settings. if no voltage check the blower motor resistor or relay. if it has a resistor it will be right beside the blower motor, if it has a relay it will be the relay on the firewall under the hood.it will probably have a purple, orange, blue, and black wires.
The heater blower resister is under the dash on the passenger side. It is inserted into the side of the blower motor case.
Fuse-switch-bad connection-blower relay-fan motor. I would check the fuse then look at the blower relay. they go out quite offen on Dodges
How do you replace the heater blower motor resistor on a 1998 gmc serria 1500 p/u
Heater core? Inlet or outlet hose fitting at heater core?
My 1998 Deville Concours had a blown blower motor for the heater/ac unit. I had to replace it because it stopped working likely due to age (replaced in 2008) and it was filthy when I took it out. Hard to do this by yourself but it can be done if you remove the obvious things in your way underneath the hood. Good luck! The blower motor fans cost around $130 ish.
Heater core leaking?
Look behind the glove box. under dash.
blower motor resistor is burned out
Bad bearing in blower motor?
It is under the dash on the passenger side.
The A/C - Heater blower motor will be located on the passengers side behind the glovebox and you will have to loosen the dash on that side and pry it up very carefully.......
