The Aztecs never fully disappeared though their numbers were significantly decimated. Modern day Mexicans have Aztec blood and there are over a million speakers of Nahuatl, the ancient language of the Aztecs.
No one knows. Many historians have theories, even some like aliens, but no proof has been found for any theory.
around ad 900 construction of buildings ceased abruptly lowland civilization of the maya collapsed possible causes war or disease but no one really knows where the maya really went
Short answer would be they were conquered by the Spanish in the late 17th century a conquest that took 170 years.
Now your question is rather vague where as im not sure if your referring to the classical collapse of the Maya or what ended the civilization.
Classical collapse... no one really knows, they went from prosperous to devistated civilization in a rather short amount of time. The current contending theories are, overpopulation, foreign invasion, peasant revolt, the collapse of key trade routes, environmental disaster, disease and climate change. In all probability the collapse was a cause of any number of these theories and none (standing alone) explain the collapse in its entirety with a significant probability, however a drought most certainly did take place during this time period.
Several hundred years after the collapse the Spanish eventually conquered the remaining Maya strongholds however this is a gross oversimplification.
They all died but some decendants are still living.
Well actually the Aztecs migrated from what is today Mississippi. But before that they actually migrated from somewhere in the eastern Mediterranean Sea which some say was the Carney Islands
where did the conquistadors go
The Mayans turned into Mexicans

they destroyed the Aztecs one by one>:)
Hernando Cortez defeated the Aztecs of Mexico.
The Cortez men killed half of them followed by a killer disease that killed the remaining.
The Aztecs didn't exactly disappear from the face of the earth; the Aztec civilization disappeared. Many did die from diseases brought by the Europeans but their culture and civilization was disrupted by the early European explorers, causing the people became scattered. Decedents of the Ancient people still live in Mexico and Central America today.
Aztecs did what Aztecs did best
Aztecs
The Aztecs Built Temples.
The Aztecs converted to Christianity primarily due to the influence of Spanish conquistadors who arrived in their territory. The Spaniards, led by Hernan Cortes, imposed Christianity as the dominant religion, often using force or coercion to enforce the conversion. This ultimately led to the decline of traditional Aztec religious practices and the widespread adoption of Christianity among the Aztec population.
The aztecs
The Aztec pyramids were used primarily for religious ceremonies and sacrifices. The temples on top of the pyramids were dedicated to various gods and were important sites for ceremonies conducted by Aztec priests.
