Polish point of view? Because they didn't listen to us, just decided what goes to who. We would much better like to get what we had before, the lands on the east that are currently the part of Ukraine, as that was what belonged to Poland for many, many years - a territory of Polish culture, histrory and people. Giving those west territories to Poland made both it and Germany unhappy, I think, and gave both countries trouble and conflicts. Polish government (which was, unfortunately, in extremely poor condition) clearly stated that we want the old borders. But the conference decided otherwise.
