Some people think that people were angry because they were being taxed, but in truth, it was really because they thought they had no say in the matter. You see, the Stamp Act was where the king wanted to tax every single piece of paper used in the colonies, because of course the entire French and Indian War had been fought for them, so why not make them pay for the costs? After all, so many had died to protect the colonies. The colonists didn't agree, however. Eventually, they started protesting and boycotting until the Stamp Act was repealed. They didn't have a say in it and that I think they should of and that is what led to Th Stamp Act....... Do u think that is fair?
