It is neither compulsory to kiss Qura'n before using it nor a religion requirement. However, some Muslims do it as a sign of respect for Qura'n words that are God (Allah) words and as an expression of gratitude to Allah who led You through Quran to his right religion and right worship.
Out of respect.
Muslims usually wash parts of their body before worship because it is a sign of cleanliness and consecration before God. It shows that they want to approach God with a clean heart.
I don't know about Hindu's but Muslims wash their feet as far as the ankle 3 times as part of Wudu (the washing pattern completed before offering prayer).
Anyone can read the Quran any time they like. It is recommended as a respect that you wash your hands and face (A ritual we call Wudoo, to cleanse/purify ourselves) before reading it though.
Yes they do. They have to do Wuzu before entering the Holy place of Mecca.
they wash before praying to show respect to there god, Allah
Hands, mouth, face, top of your hair and feet
Yes. This is what Muslims go into to wash their bodys before they pray.
Muslims have to do Wudhu before reading or even touching the Holy Qur'an. Wudhu is the sacred wash that is required to do before doing anything holy. Muslims have to wash before touching the Qur'an because it purifies them- Muhammad washed before doing prayer too and we follow this Holy Prophet. Wudhu purifies our body which is full of dirt usually. It says in the Qur'an, if you do Wudhu, it makes you cleaner.
To purify themselves before going to pray to God. As we wash with water, its as if we're washing away all the bad stuff we may have done since last time. my answer:- to cleanse ourselves before we pray because we always urinate and stuff before we pray just like the answer above mine said.
The first and most important demonstration of Quran respect by Muslims is by obeying Quran instructions and following its teachings and rules. In addition, Muslims pay respect to Quran through the following aspects:following Quran commands, as real God words, as what to do and what not to do.reciting Quran frequently to be closer to God and to be rewarded and forgiven by God.memorizing as much as possible of Quranlistening carefully and respectably to Quran when recited by othersstudying Quran and studying Quran interpretationsnot touching or reading in Quran while not on valid ablutionnot reading in Quran, by women, while in their menstruation (period)physical keeping of Quran holy book in a clean pure place above any other books and not to be covered with other books.dealing with the Quran holy books with care and respect.
Well, to begin with, the first thing a new born baby hears in it's life is part of the Qur'an. During the birth, a family member will recite the selected part over and over again. Muslim children have to memorise certain parts of the Qur'an as it is recited 5 times a day, some Muslims even learn Arabic! Someone who has memorised the whole Qur'an is known as a Hafiz Most Qur'ans are hand written entirely in caligraphy and decorated with colourful mosaic/geometric designs The Qur'an is never set on the floor. When not in use, it is wrapped in silk and place on top of the highest peice of funiature in the room, above all other books so as to be closer to Allah Before the Qur'an is read, the reader must wash him/herself on the hands, feet face, mouth and hair If the Qur'an has been written on a blackboard or slate it must be cleaned off with water once it is done with. Avoid putting the water where there are unclean substances or where people walkThe Qu'ran is the Islamic holy book, just as the Bible is to Christians. The Bible is the guideline to Christianity as the Qu'ran is to Muslims. That is why it is respected by all Muslims around the world. Interesting to note- The Qu'ran is also very similar to the Old Testament in the Bible. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are similar in many ways. Research it.
Of course they do.
