there is a plug in the fuse box under the back seat about 3 inches wide if you unplug it and plug it back in and make sure that the tall steel fuses are pluged in tight the lights stop flickering it will come back the dealership says nothing is wrong I figured it out by trying diffent connections this is the only thing that helps it may last a couple of months before you have to do it again
Sounds like you need a new battery.
why do my lights flicker and interior lights flicker
Possible electrical problem
Alternator is failing.
Might be a weak battery
Dash lights are soldered in place on the board. If they are all out you may have a fuse out or the instrument cluster is gone.
I had this problem and it was a bad alternator.
You may have a pull on your batt, or a surge.
On a 1999 GEO Tracker, a bad fuse can cause the headlights and dash lights to blink. A bad voltage regulator or alternator can also cause lights to blink and flicker.
Your lights may flicker because they power is really low. It is very common for them to flicker when there is a storm out.
On my Lexus I had an issue with the lights staying off when it was cold. This was the case for all of my dashboard lights. Then they would flicker back on. There are Caps on the board for the instrument panel that were blown. This was the case for my fuel cage that didn't work consistently work as well
Your entire automobile electrical system is grounded to the frame of the vehicle. A loose or corroded ground wire can cause the dash lights to Flickr and the car to stall out.
