In the tropics, most places only have two main seasons. Wet and dry, both of which can be extremely hot, so more often than not "winter" is not a problem. Many houses are elevated with lots of windows and fans, usually made of wood and steel, as concrete and brick can get very hot, although the southern style is becoming more popular and so they have thick insulation in the ceiling. Some houses use whirly birds, device hat releases hot air from the rof, cooling the home. Of course, this is from my Northern Australian experience, so it might not be the same as people from LEDC's.
Insulation - any kind of insulation - is effectively a way of trapping air. Trapped air does a poor job of letting heat cross it's barrier - form either direction. In the winter, it keeps the heat in our homes, and also greatly slows the penetration of cold from outside. In the summer, it does exactly the opposite. It keeps the cool air in, and keeps much of the heat out.
In winter there is a larger temperature gradient - i.e., a larger temperature difference between the inside and the outside.
When gasses lose heat they condense into liquids.
They actually lose the nutrients
As the arm supporting the pendulum expands in the warmer temperatures of summer, so the swing distance slightly increases, so taking longer to swing and slowing down the clock. Back in the colder winter weather, the pendulum support contracts, getting slightly shorter. This increases the speed of the swing and the timing is increased. So in summer time slows down, and in winter time speed up. This is when adjustment is usually made to regain the correct time.
The leaves lose chloroplasts as summer turns to fall.
It absorbs heat faster
actually bicycle tire or for that matter any kind of tire does lose air, the heat in the summer causes the air in the tires to expand. That's why is not a good idea to fill your tires to the max in the summer time.
Mainly the windows.
Because they do not sweat as much in the winter than they do in the summer.
Places near the sea are warmer in the summer and colder in the winter because water does not lose heat very fast in summer even after the sunset and in winter water is always frozen so any breeze going over the sea will keep the sea cool
In the winter people used to heat their houses with fires. In modern houses the boiler is a fire that heats water (or air) that is then circulated round the house in pipes to warm the rooms - this is called central heating. If the boiler goes off this removes the source of heat and the central heating can no longer do its job. As a result the hose will lose its heat energy to the outside and gradually cool down.
If you mean lose their fur then I can help you. Rabbit lose their fur when they moult. Moulting happens about twice a year and is when the old fur dies and falls out, but it is replaced with new fur. Rabbits have 2 types of coat: a thick one for winter, and a thinner one for summer. The winter coat is darker and the summer coat is lighter, because light colour reflect the heat so the rabbit won't get too hot.
Summer. Because it's hot, your body would sweat.... causingyou to lose .05 calories.... and you wanna live

Thicker hair is needed as a protection against the extreme cold of winter. The thick coat is shed in summer as the weather can be very warm.
"Heat Wave" by Helen Ketteman is a children's book about animals trying to find ways to stay cool during a hot summer day. The main theme is how the heat affects the animals and how they cope with it.
Some conifers would fit these requirements.
Lying in the summer sun, in a winter jacket, will not help you burn body fat fast. It will cause you to sweat and lose some water weight. Exercise and eating right is the best way to lose unwanted body fat.
