Anti-rattle clips not installed properly
The possessive form for "the rattle of the snake" is the snake's rattle.
To cure brake rattle replace the caliper pins with new ones do both sides and be sure to lubricate the new pins with high temp silicon brake lube.
If you front brakes rattle, it is usually caused by a a stuck puck or piston in your brake assembly. When this happens, the piston does not fully retract at times causing you brake pad or pads to wear excessibly and when the piston finally retracts fully and does not keep constant pressure on your pads you get a rattle. I had this problem on my F-150 and the brake guy solved this by installing steel pucks and lube.
The brackets that hold the brake pads in place are worn and are allowing the pads to rattle.
What is making the rattle sound? If it is a rattle-snake, the rattle is to warn anything the rattle-snake believes is a danger to the snake, to keep away.
