They usually don't, but I'm almost positive that the answer is this:
The person would have been making a jab at the religion by relating it to the Insane Clown Posse song "Miracles" In which the group attributes everyday things to unseen forces and mysterious causes that cannot be explained, calling them "Miracles."
A scientifically literate person sees this song as a proclamation of ignorance and stupidity. It has hence become an inside joke on the internet to quote part of the song when encountering ignorant or stupid people.
