When people who live in advanced, civilized nations such as the United States, Japan, most of Europe and many parts of Asia, South America and some places in Africa it is hard for them to understand that most nations of the world are under-developed due to poverty, lack of proper governing, caste systems, dictatorships that oppress and geography that is difficult to produce enough water and food to feed their populace.
Africa suffers the most because it does not have enough rain, arable soil, seeds, proper sanitation, fuel and electricity. The people are basically tribal and live in rural areas suffering from the above mention problems.
Another problem that causes starvation and poverty is education, lack of wealth, bad people who are rulers of nations and inability for charitable and government agencies or the United Nation Aid ministries to access the areas that need the food, medical care, clothing, training and development. This is caused by the people who block their access due to war, revolution or evil dictatorships or war lords (see the case of Somalia).
People can suffer from malnutrition due to various reasons such as insufficient food intake, lack of access to nutrient-rich foods, poverty, food insecurity, illness affecting appetite and digestion, and inadequate or unbalanced diet. Malnutrition can also result from poor food quality, lack of clean water, and inadequate sanitation, leading to deficiencies in essential nutrients like protein, vitamins, and minerals.
