When did fox hunting start?

Fox hunting began in 1632. People went with dogs so the dogs could smell out the foxes. Traditionally they hunted the red fox but now they hunt all kinds of fox. It has become a sport all over the world but mainly in USA Canada Russia Ireland and Poland.

Fox hunting has been going on for 300yrs

ancient Rome with possibilities going back to ancient Greece and even Egypt. People have never miss an opportunity to hunt something.

If fox hunting gets banned then many hounds will have to be killed, not many people understand that Foxhounds cannot be kept as pets they will have to be put down if hunting is banned.If foxes aren't hunted they are most likely to be shot, snared, gassed or starve to death as nuisances. When hounds catch a fox they kill it in less than a minute.I really don't think there's a problem with hunting and I do it myself and witness that a Fox either gets caught or gets away. They never get injured and then escape, there is no cruelty in this.
