Hey Matthew==Someone wired it up incorreectly. Good Luck, Joe
Sounds like you blew a fuse.
Someone knocked a wire loose.
The bass player for Dashboard Confessional is Scott Shoenbeck.
It is legal to install a car DVD player in the dashboard, but you have to wire the system in a way that shut of the DVD when the car is in motion.
Factory cover housing should match with the rest of the vehicle. After market are always all black.
This all depends on the package that was installed or the after market installation. The mp3 player is an optional item and could be installed or not.
Stereo systems obviously have illumination lights in them. Sometimes they will route these illumination wires to an area of the fuse panel which seems to affect the park lights, guage lights, etc. If the illumination wire(s) has touch an area of grounded metal, or another wire while installation, the problem is most likely a blown fuse. I hope you get this problem fixed. Good luck.
Nicknamed "The Scooter" Phil Rizzuto was a Yankee shortstop. He went on to a long career as a sports announcer and spokesman for The Money Store. He also provided the voiceover for the spoken bridge in Meatloaf's Paradise by the Dashboard Lights.
Just smash the bloody dashboard and take it out of there.
Some are near the console and some are in the dashboard.
I have the same problem. I took my car to the dealership today and I was told the the fiber optic wire that connect the dashboard radio to the CD changer has a shortage. I was told that the whole motherboard will need to be replaced. $2700.00 lol!
Yes they can be installed in any car or truck that has a good battery.
