I am going to assume that you have already checked for bad bulbs or blown fuses.
The multifunction switch is probably bad.
Remove the lock cylinder and three screws to remove the plastic shroud from the steering column. Next, remove two screws holding switch to the column. Use a small flat-bladed (common) screwdriver to unplug the switch. Install new switch in reverse order.
The 1993 BMW 325 dimmer switch is located on the lower left-hand side of the dashboard. The dimmer switch is a dial switch.
the multi-function turn signal stalk pushes into the dimmer...some parts places list it as the wiper control module or switch, some have it as the actual turn signal switch.

Base of the steering column.

The headlight dimmer switch is located on the end of the lever. Remove the steering column so the lever can be properly reached.
The dimmer switch is located under the dash to the left of the steering column. Unfortunately I don't know of any way to get to it without dismantling the dash and the steering column. Even with those items removed, it was a real chore to get at it. When we replaced my dimmer switch, we got everything back together and found that the rod that connects the dimmer switch to the lever on the steering column was bending too much to activate the new dimmer switch. This job took all day and was a waste of time and money as we have a new dimmer switch but it is useless without fixing the connecting rod problem.
there is switch located next to the dimmer switch and that is the key to your problems
