hello.. i am naresh kumar from India..my problem is that i want a mosquito repeller circuit that really works..i am an electronics person but i have tried all the circuits in Google, but none ofthem are able to repel the mosquitos.. can i get a perfect circuit that works/repels the mosquitos? also all the circuits mention that the circuits oscillate at 10khz..but the female mosquitos actually are repelled by freq above 30khz..which is ultrasonic and we dont hear the sound..all the circuits in the net are audible indicating that they are between 30 to 30000 cycles whcih is audible ...why are these circuits presented in net when they dont work? pls clarify and reply.. regards naresh
None of them work long term.
It works but not in an area as big as specified.
No, ultrasonic mosquito repellers do not work. Extensive tests have been run on them. The facts is, mosquitoes don't even have ears. ... i agree they dont work but mosquitoes can defenetly hear. they dont have ears as such but they have complex hearing organs.
Electronic devices are not effective long term.
It doesn't. The FTC has info on these scams at http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/05/fyi0128.shtm. Enter "Pest Repeller" in the FTC search window for more info.
It is essentially a large air core capacitor. The stored up amperage is discharged when the insect short circuits the two sides of the capacitor.

Mosquito repellents like creams and coils and also sanitizer are good and they work...but you need to keep your neighborhood clean if you dont want mosquitoes. Don't keep stagnant water throw it .
Most mosquito repellents will not work on bees. In fact, there are certain fragrances in some mosquito repellents that will actually attract bees.
It doesn't have one
Yes, yes they do.
they work vice versa
