fat people die early. excess weight increases blood pressure and likelihood of Diabetes as well as increased cholesterol in the body wich also increases blood pressure.... all bad for the heart the number one part in the body that fails 1st

it is important to do this because it gets rid of unwanted fat gives you a high burst of energy and also can help you sleep at night it increase fitness highly not putting you in risk of high colesteral or diebetes enjoy

  • -Decreased heart rate and blood pressure
  • -Increased capillary density in skeletal muscle
  • -Increased exercise threshold

2. Reduction in coronary artery disease risk factors

  • -Reduced blood pressure
  • -Increased serum HDL cholesterol and decreased serum triglycerides
  • -Reduced total body fat
  • -Reduced insulin needs, improve glucose tolerance
  • -Reduced blood platelet adhesiveness and aggregation

3. Decreased morbidity and mortality

  • -higher activity levels are associated with lower death rates from CAD
  • -higher activity levels are associated with lower incidence of: Heart disease, CAD, stroke, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, colon and Breast cancer, and gallbladder disease

4. Other benefits

  • - Decreased anxiety and depression
  • - Increased independent living in older adults
  • - Enhanced feeling of well being
  • - Reduced risk of falls and injuries from falls in older persons
  • - Prevention of functional limitations in older adults
  • - Exercise serves as effective therapy for many chronic diseases in older adults.
