This Can Be Caused By A Couple Things. You Have Overfilled The Engine In Oil ( which I doubt). The Oil Is Not Returning To The Oil Pan As Fast As It Should And Staying In The Valve Train, Under The Valve Covers. Your Engine Is Worn And You Have Excessive Blowby Try Putting A 5 Weight Oil 5W 40 This May Clean The Sludge From The Oil Gallies. If It Isn`t All That Bad, Just Keep Driving. GOOD LUCK
Air is pulled into the crankcase from the PCV (positive crankcase valve) the fresh air enters through this filter to keep dirt from being sucked into the crankcase. This filter is usually located inside the air filter housing.
It is a filter for the pcv system. It is a filter for the pcv system.
There is no PCV filter on that car.
In the intakee behind the throtle body.
In the intake behind the throtle body.
It is behind the throtle body in the intake.
In the intake behind the throtle body.
between throtle body and firewall
yes replace the PCV valve it cheep ,,
Hey Rich==The idle speed solonoid is pprobably to blame. Take it off of the throtle body and clean it with carb cleaner. Also clean th inside of the throtle body where the throtle plate is as a carbon ring forms there. Goodluck Joe I had a similar problem and the PCV tube was punctured. $20 part at a ford dealer and you can replace it yourself. I too had this problem and the PCV tube was cracked and collapsed. Replaced and all was well. I also had this problem, with my 1996 wagon.. problem was a cinked PCV hose, was very cheap, and easy to replace. Fixed the problem ;)
Yes, it is located in the intake manifold behind the throtle body.
It is in the intake behind the throtle body. Simply pull it out and replace it.
change your pcv filter and pcv sensor that pops into your valve cover
It depends on which engine you have but it should be in the intake manifold. There should be a hose going from it to the throtle body.
yes. if the valve is plugged or stuck closed, oil can be sucked into the intake through the pcv breather.
"Positive Crankcase Ventilation" Catalytic converter burns up oil smoke sucked out of the engine from the PCV.
That is the filter for the PCV system.
on the passenger side of the intake manifold is a small diamond shaped plate with two bolts, remove the bolt and the PCV is under that plate
Hey Lisa==It is in the valve cover and there is a hose that goes from it to the throtle body. Goodluck, Joe
If the engine is smothe at lower speeds it probably is the tcc in the torque convertor. The egr and pcv both are on the upper engine behind the throtle body on your 3.8 engine.
The PCV valve on a Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 is located in the air filter hose that goes from the air filter to the motor. On any vehicle, the PCV valve can be located by starting at the air filter and going to the end of the connecting hose at the motor.
Oil in an air filter is commonly caused by a bad PCV filter. Check the filter, and replace as needed.
You can find the PCV valve for your 1987 Nissan on top of the engine. The PCV valve will be near the air filter housing.
fuel filter is under veh in frame rail pcv is in 1 of the valve covers
On top of the air filter is a diagram that shows you where the PCV valve is located.
