You more than likely have a rear strut that needs to be replaced. Be sure to replace both rear struts when doing so. A strut is the shock absorber system on your fwd Berretta.
When you turn the wheel, or while you drive?
Mine had a clicking noise and it turned out to be the front passanger side axle assembly.
Check your sway bar links. I just had to have these replaced on my 2004 Tracker.
There is something serious wrong, please have it checked by a knowledgeable person.
check the u-joints in the drive shaft first
A clunking noise when shifting gears on a K1500 automatic transmission, might mean a problem with the drive axle or drive shaft. Check all U-Joints to make sure they are working properly.
A bad gear can cause your four-wheel-drive transfer case to make a clunking sound. The transfer case should be checked immediately.
