The UK, like any Western country, is a great place to work. Most businesses have great benefits, good pay, reasonable hours, etc. There are also laws regarding occupations in terms of hour, pay, etc. such as a limit as to how long you can work without breaking, how much you can earn per hour at a minimum, etc.
The United Kingdom appeals to many people because it is a different country where English is spoken. This could be true of visitors from Australia, South Africa and USA.
As well, there are centuries of history in England. There are remarkable buildings, vistas, coast lines, tramping trails, motor routes. England is full of great pubs, world-class live entertainment, excellent shopping and the Royals.
England as well afford people who come there to live from other countries, a hope that they can make a better life in England than they had in the country of their birth.
Britain is full of contrasts; whichever direction you travel you will find a wide variety of landscapes and diverse cultures to explore. England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are all unique countries with their own customs, cultures and tradition.
