It is advertising. They will do or say anything to make it seem like their product is better. If you look at the fine print, it will probably say something like "...when compared to Qwest DSL 1.5Mb speed." It should be noted though that Qwest does not offer the 7Mb speed in all areas.
Verizon's wireless plans offer download speeds of up to 12 mbps (megabits per second), while Qwest's Heavy Duty DSL plans provide speeds between 1.5 and 40 mbps.

Depends on your regional bandwidth that is available. In some areas Comcast is faster than other ISP's ... in other areas it is not as fast. if you live in a DOCSIS 3.0 updated area and subscribe to the normal performance internet you will receive 12 mbs down and 3 up. non DOCSIS 3.0 area performance internet is 6mbs down. economy tier internet from Comcast is 1 mbs down. comcast also sells internet speed up to 50 mbs
QWest only has about five plans currently, and they're all based on Internet speeds. By all means, the 40 MBPS is the best they offer and it's only $44/month. Even that's a trickle compared to what countries outside the US get. Be aware that ISPs frequently advertise "best-case scenario" speeds that they can't even deliver most of the time.
There are lot in USA ...donno which country you belongs to ... take the connection which is more than 10 Mbps spped ...Ex: Comcast,Verizon Fios etc

Normally, yes.The max speed of the most common wireless standard, 802.11g, is about 54 Mbps while the router will support wired transfer speeds of 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps (Gigabit network).Your internet connection is slower than either of those, broadband internet is in the range 1-10 Mbps, so you won't notice if you use the wireless just for browsing. The speed difference between wired and wireless is definitely noticeable when you copy files between two computers on the local network.
