The airbag light on a 2003 Mazda Tribute will stay on if a defect is detected in the system. This can include the sensor or the airbag itself which should be immediately repaired.
"What is the gazebo looking dashboard warning light on a 2003 Mazda tribute and why does it stay on for a minute before shutting off when you initially start the car Mazda tribute and why does it stay on for a minute before shutting off when you initially start the car?"
please answer this question - i have the same problem! Thanks
headlight switch is probaly your trouble
more than likely that the drivers seat has been adjusted and one of the connections between the seat and airbag has not re-connected. you need to visit your local Mazda dealer who will run an ECU check yia a plug underneath the dashboard. The airbag will not deploy in any situation, emergency or not, while this light is on. please bear this in mind!
Our Tribute is doing the same. Anyone help? It can be the sensor or have the cap checked out. The caps in these go bad. You can replace the cap/container (sold as one unit), or try putting in approximately 1 qt of coolant above the full line (sometimes this works). the floating ball sinks and the sensor goes on to make the light come on there ios a recall for this bring it to your Mazda dealer
there is a major problem in the brake system if both lights stay on. have it checked before you have no brakes at all
it starts but the oil light stay on
its a speed sensor. about 95$ plus labor
Check ur back light switch:P everyones done it...
You have a problem with the charging system. More than likely the alternator has failed.
Your Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) has a problem and is disabled. The light will remain on until it's repaired.
