Change the fuel filter and have the ignition module checked out.
This is a good place to start. I realized my shutdowns occured when the car was running above 230 degree's and usually around 2500+ rpms. I could never get it to fail for the dealer in their parking lot.
I found after a full diagnostic process of replacing sensors, plugs, wires, steering column wiring harness, coils, ICM and numerous hours of research in many on line forums, that the Crankshaft sensor was failing. I had to replace it twice in the last 3 years.
It is behind the Harmonic balancer and will require you to have a steering wheel puller to remove the balancer. I used an over sized socket to drive it back on to the crankshaft far enough to get the bolt to seat it and torque it to the specs.
