THATS BECAUSE POWER IS ROUTED AROUND THE RESISTOR BLOCK WHEN YOU SELECT HI-YOU NEED A NEW(BLOWER MOTOR) RESISTOR BLOCK-SHOULDNT COST MORE THAN 20 -30 DOLLARS AT NAPA
