The real Ugg boots are made out of Australian sheepskin. You can find them in any high end store but do not but them at Wal-Mart because thos are not real. You can also go to their site at http://www.uggaustralia.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-UGG-US-Site/default/Default-Start?source=ggl_ppc&s_kwcid=TC|6895|uggs%20shoesS|e|9106232580&gclid=COba-qrM_KoCFQPrKgodPj9t2A.

Its the egg shells that are calcium carbonate.

the acidic reaction 2H+ + CaCO3 -> Ca++ H2O + CO2 destroys Calcium Carbonate leaving only solution.

Why would you remove the egg shell first if it were to be placed in vinegar?

Egg shells is made up of calcium carbonate. Vinegar aka ethanoic acid is a type of acid. When vinegar come upon contact with the egg shell, the egg shell will corrode making it weak and fragile. In terms of science, this is what happens: Calcium carbonate + acid will produce calcium salt + water + carbon dioxide CaCO3 + CH3COOH -> CH3COOCa + H2O + CO2 .
