I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra and having the exact problem, I got my eletrical systems diagnostics test at Pep Boys and they did not find anything wrong with Battery, Alternator or Startor. I am keeping a Jump Starter in car for precaution just in case the car won't start may be due to a short but I am going to some one who specializes in electrical to have a look at it. I am also going to check the wiring from battery and in charging loop to see it there are some loose connections or bad diodes, connections etc. If you have already found the cause of this trouble please email me at kanviv@gmail.com
How do you change brake pads on a 2002 Nissan Sentra? How do you change brake pads on a 2002 Nissan Sentra? How do you change brake pads on a 2002 Nissan Sentra?
could be a bad alternator or battery
this happened with my 94 sentra just before the alternator died... i would take it to a parts store and have them test the battery and alternator.
The brake light switch is located above the brake pedal on a 1993 Nissan Sentra. To reach the switch the driver's door needs to be opened.
the brake light driver side not working

Tighten it up!!
brake light on dash blinking
to the right of the brake pedal
Are the brake lights operational? Are you having any battery recharging issues? If not, I'd be looking at circuit issues such as an open/loose ground or relay malfunction. Good Luck! Dub
Check the brake switch under your pedal (which needs to be pushed when the brake pedal is depressed). This is what the problem was on my friends Sentra. As long as you have checked the lights and fuses, this should do it.
The 1998 Nissan brake light switch is located below the dashboard, on the drivers side of the engine compartment. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out.
