Mine does the same thing. It will turn over and over and may or may not start. It always will eventually start, but if it hasn't cranked after 10-12 seconds of metal on metal turn over, I wait about 10-15 seconds and it fires right off. I have no idea, have checked vapor lock, starter, battery, fuel pump, etc. If you get any answers, email hump860@charter.net. Good luck.
I was having the same problem. But, come to find out it was the ECM Processor which is located behind the parking break. You will have to remove the steering column to get to it. The processor may have shorted out because i had checked the relay voltage and got 12 volts. But, then checked the inertia switch which is located behind the passenger kick panel and the voltage was only half so that told me that there was something wrong in the wiring before it gets to the inertia switch ( shut off switch).
So if you are having problems getting it to start have your EEC tested. It may be faulting out or may have a short in it.
I own A 1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer with a 5.0 liter engine. The answer to your question is the oil capacity is exactly 6 quarts for an oil change.
It is located on the front of the engine between the block and the radiator. You will see a few heater hoses run from it to a black piece on your passenger side. Also the water pump will have the main belt running around it
The gas gauge in the Eddie Bauer Explorer probably does not work due to a bad fuel sending unit. The sending unit is in the fuel tank in the same access area as the fuel pump.
Well I have a 1994 Eddie Bauer and I just had my back door speakers replaced and those were 6x8. I was also told that the front door speakers are the same.
ur face
35 to 45 PSI , with the key on / engine off , according to my Haynes book
I know that on my 1995 Ford EXPLORER the Powertrain Control Module ( PCM ) will start cutting back on the fuel in order to protect the engine at a certain RPM when it is in gear and a much lower RPM if it is in park or neutral when there is no load on the engine , I assume your Ford Bronco is similar
According to motorcraft . com 95 amp for the 1994 Ford Explorer - XLT and Eddie bauer 130 amp for the 1994 Ford Explorer - Limited
hold the shifter all the way up and try to start your bronco if it starts adjust the shift linkage and passing gear linkage if it stilldoesn't start replace the neutral safety switch
vacuum hose dimgram for 1994 ford bronco
If you get a click you need to replace the solenoid. if you get nothing at all replace the solenoid and buy a starter. install the solenoid first and try to start the car if it still doesn't start let it sit and then start it. try to start right after you turn it on with a jump start it might be the battery. If that doesn't work it will more than likely be the starter, so you have to install the starter. When installing the new starter you must still keep the new solenoid in. This should work I have a 96 Eddie Bauer bronco. Before you start anything check the fuses and the battery. the reason you get the solenoid and then check the battery again is because there might be a drain in the solenoid that doesn't allow the battery to hold a charge. If none of these things work turn off all the lights in your garage and have a friend try to start the car and watch the cap and rotor for electrical arc, this will also not allow the battery to charge quickly. If all else fails try the ignition.
Erhard Bauer died on 1994-01-13.
